WHITESTONE HOUSE, HAMPSTEAD, NW3

Brod Wight Architects were asked to take over an extensive rebuilding and extension of this early 19th century house and tower overlooking Hampstead Heath. The photograph top left shows the state of the house when Brod Wight were called in and the picture below, the house as completed.

The proposals include an extended basement under the entire building and a new swimming pool built under the privately owned lane leading to Hampstead Heath.

We are very pleased that the completed house was presented with the "Building Quality Award" by the London Borough of Camden in recognition of the high standards achieved
